Powell Recovery Center cares about Baltimore and we care about you.
We provide the best care for your specific recovery needs. We have different kinds of treatment plans for you. We work around obstacles to your recovery. We get you to where you want to be.
Powell has been at its current location since 1994. We provide treatment including medication for withdrawal on the first day at Powell. This is called Treatment on Demand and at Powell we provide it every day to people just like you. We get your recovery started right away.
Powell has a large staff of qualified people who will help in your recovery. The medical staff, the counselors and the support staff all want you to succeed. They work together to guide you through your treatment goals. They continue to watch over you as you make progress.
It doesn’t matter if you have a mental health need or an addiction problem. PRC will get you in the right program to help you.

What To Expect
At the client’s first appointment, Powell performs a thorough evaluation and medical intervention, and places the client in residential treatment. We will also schedule a mental health evaluation. A treatment plan is put together, and the client starts in a treatment group the following day.
From start to finish, we provide all parts of treatment, from intensive stabilization and detoxification to residential and outpatient treatment. Powell’s dedicated medical staff are always ready to help along the way.
Clients who need Dual Recovery Treatment services for both substance abuse and mental health will see the psychiatrist. They enroll in the Dual Recovery program shortly after admission, treatment and stabilization.

We also offer a Psychiatric Rehab Program called LIFE, which provides support and assistance for independent living for clients who qualify for services.
